The Cancellation is a deadly phenomenon developed by the Creators to keep the Creator Cosmos clean of unused Timelines.

Description

Like the structure of the Development Purgatory, the Cancellation is comprised of black and white static that slowly eats away at timelines or multiverses that its Creators has stopped or completed working on. It spreads through multiverses like fire on the outside, and floods through physical content like flooding water. It dissolves everything it touches, permanently deleting them from the Creator Cosmos. While it can be slowed down by the Creators who own the Multiverse it is consuming, once it starts it is very difficult to stop.

History

Creation

There was an Idea

The Creator Cosmos is a very large and expansive place filled with countless amounts of fictional stories and infinite amount of different variations of those stories. In order to keep the Cosmos clean and free of unused Timelines and Multiverses, many Prime Creators, including the One Who Commentates, came together to create a automatic system to erase the old content and make room for the new.

The Cancellation was forged by the Creators as almost sentient tv static. It was designed to consume and permanently delete old timelines, leaving nothing behind. The Creators set it across their Cosmos to be an ever-present force to automatically rid the Cosmos of old content.

Trivia
