Discordia, sometimes called the Creature World, is the a large planet in the Magic Dimension spiritually connected to the Earth of the Elemental Dimension. It is the original home of the Karnabo tribe and the Longma but now is the home of the Magical Community who rules its many realms. Discordia lies outside of Galactic Federation jurisdiction, instead being under the protection of the Creature Council.
Discordia is based on Halloweentown from the Disney Channel Original Movie Halloweentown
Description
Discordia is a large terrestrial planet within the Draco Galaxy of the Magic Dimension. It has three natural satellites and orbits an unnamed binary star system. Discordia also has a set of rings around it formed from a fourth moon that was destroyed during development.
Unlike its Elemental counterpart, the Earth, Discordia has no true continents and is instead covered in a series of large islands no bigger than the Earth's Australia. The rest of the planet is covered in liquid or frozen water basins. Life exists on all parts of Discordia including the surface, underwater, and underground. Parts of the planet itself seems to have its own will, being corrupted by the Cera Fluid coursing through the planet's underworld.
History
Nexus Universe Discordia
Development
Discordia was formed roughly five billion years ago and rapidly became habitable due to the excess of magic in the surrounding Creature Dimension. Eventually, Dinosaurs evolved, and later, the raw magic mutated them into a proto-Longma that quickly grew into Discordia's dominant species and forced the Dinosaurs into extinction.
Cera Comet Impacts Discordia
A concentration of magic formed within the Creature Dimension and collected itself around a comet. Around 300 million years before the Dark Ages, that comet struck the planet and buried itself deep into the ground, creating the Cera Crater. Immediately, the Cera Fluid within the comet corrupted the land and began to erode and spread outwards.
As the crater expanded, it intercepted a den of Longma, the Cera Fluid altering their minds and bodies, making them intelligent and granting them limited reality warping abilities. With their new abilities, they were able to slow the spread of the expansion enough that it would no longer be an issue for them.
Humanoid Creatures
Over time, powerful hominids came to be on Discordia, quickly populating the planet, especially in a central tribe that became their capital. These magical hominids quickly evolved into early Witches who became the new dominate race of Discordia, sending the Longma underground.
Dark Ages
Arthur Pendragon is taken under the wing of the legendary sorcerer, Merlin who trains him into being the king of Discordia. Pendragon was given the test of pulling the sword Excalibur from Anvil to which he succeeded. His first decree as king was to unite all of the realms of Discordia under his rule in the capital he named Camelot.
However, the power goes to King Arthur's head, turning him into a power hungry tyrant. He charms Excalibur to be a one hit kill to magic users and uses it to attack his former mentor, Merlin. Merlin fakes his death and uses his power open a portal to the Overworld where he and his family escaped to. In his absence, King Author ruled over all of Discordia and formed the Knights of the Round Table to help do his bidding.
Before the Battle of Camelot, a temporally displaced Collector steals Excalibur and mortally wounds Arthur the Terrible with it. When the Humanoid Creatures return to Discordia, they were easily able to finish Pendragon off, and used the light within Merlin's Talisman to expel his dark influence. Camelot is renamed to Halloweentown with Splendora Cromwell as the new queen.
Beginning of the End
Nexus Discord's Accident
Prince Discord of the Longmas becomes curious of the humanoid creatures now inhabiting the land but his father forbids him to go near them, calling them dangerous. In a huff, Discord walks away from the kingdom and finds the cave where Merlin wrote his prophecy. Seeing that the prophecy was about him left him friended, causing him to run into the forest and fall into the Cera Crater where he sinks and drowns in the Cera Fluid.
His body is found over one thousand years later and taken in for autopsy. During the healing process, Discord's body awakens and explodes into a mass of Cera Fluid, horribly mutating and evolving everyone there. Those effected became dangerous monsters fueled by Chaos Magic. Discord the forcibly takes control of the Longma and mutates them all, then sets his eyes on the Humanoid Creatures on the surface.
Attack on Halloweentown
On an otherwise peaceful day, Merlin notices a strange magic in the atmosphere. Suddenly, the Longma make themselves known, blowing up the Town Hall Building and destroying the Jack-o'-lantern, weakening the integrity of the realm. With their magical power, the Longma easily took the lives of hundreds of citizens. Seeing no other way out, Merlin retreats to his lab. Discord notices and sends a fleet of Longma to follow him.
Big Crunch
In a panic, Merlin powers on a machine he built designed to warp reality, however he is ambushed by the Longma before he can finish. Discordia was destroyed along side the rest of the Nexus Universe thanks to the shockwave of the Castration of Ouranos. the shockwave activated Merlin's Reality Bomb which shook and collapsed the Nexus Universe back into an artificial Cosmic Singularity.
