The Meta Timeline, also known as the Metacognitive Timeline, is a split branch from the Mother Timeline distinct from other timelines as nearly every entity knows they are a fictional character in a fictional universe. The characters use that information in order to form better stories.
c. 13,800,000,000 B.C.E.
- Big Bang: The Prime Universe exploded into existence through a Big Bang. The Spark of Creation, mimics aspects from the Mother Timeline into the Meta Timeline. Including the formation of corrupted copies of itself every cosmic cycle, roughly every one billion years.
c. 12,800,000,000 B.C.E.
- The Anti-Universe is formed.
c. 11,800,000,000 B.C.E.
- The Opposite Universe is formed.
c. 10,800,000,000 B.C.E.
- The Mirror Universe is formed.

- Jacklyn Frost is formed in the icy realm of Niflheim and from her breath came the powerful Fimbulwinter, an everlasting snowstorm that blanketed the realm of ice. From that ice, she also spawned countless Frost Giants to inhabit the realm and act as her servants.
- Two of her children, however, Borr and Bestla did not want to follow their queen. While the Frost Giants populated the realm, they decided to explore elsewhere, eventually finding their war to warmer lands where they started to melt into different beings called the Æsir.
- Borr and Bestla many had children together including their son Odin. Over time, other Frost Giants came and joined them, also melting into the Æsir.
- Both the Æsir and Frost Giants quickly expand in numbers.
c. 7,000,000,000 B.C.E.
- Jacklyn Frost, now going by the same Snow Queen, begins to wonder where her missing children were. Instead of sending more Frost Giants to investigate, she uses her powers to form a large Ice Dragon to survey the realm.
- War of Niflheim:
- Attack on the Æsir: The Ice Dragon finds where the Æsir were living, on the outskirts of Niflheim, and relays back to the Snow Queen. She sees this as an act of betrayal and orders the Dragon to attack them. The Æsir managed to barely hold their own against him but many lives were still lost.
- Ambush of the Snow Queen's Castle: The Æsir soon realized that the Snow Queen and the Frost Giants were dangerous and they soon decided to leave Niflheim to escape them. They collected their whole population and ran to the Snow Queen's Castle where they can channel a wormhole out of the realm. The Æsir ambush the castle and fight their way though the army of Frost Giants, killing many of them.
- Escape from Niflheim: They managed to make their way to the Snow Queen's throne and used their magic to conjure a portal out of Niflheim. When the Snow Queen returns, she sees the carnage and vows revenge on the Æsir.
- Around this time, Dagda is formed from pure magic and takes residence in Svartalfheim.
c. 6,900,000,000 B.C.E.

- War of Svartalfheim:
- Evacuation of Svartalfheim: Due to the weak temporal boundaries inside the Realm of Darkness, the fleeing Dwarves and the pursuing Dark Elves unknowingly ran though temporal rifts throughout the caves of Myrkheim transporting them to the Meta Timeline form the Mother Timeline. The two races quickly spread across the new realm, bringing their war with them.
- Fusion of the Svartalfheimians: The Faeries fight began to leave Svartalfheim in ruin, catching the attention of the Dagda. Forced to intervene, the Dagda used his great power to end the war, fusing the Dark Elves and Dwarves into one being. The newly made Duergar kneel before the Dagda as their god and king whom they call Arawn, the term for 'god' in the Svartalfheimian language.
c. 6,800,000,000 B.C.E.
- The Duergar develop into a sprawling class-based society ran by the mining and selling of Fairy Dust in exchange for gold. The lower classes are left to the farms and mines while the upper class thrive in large cities.
- Banishment of the Karma Clan: Within the Celestial Timeline, a group of high ranked Leprechauns form a cult revolving around the Dark One. Calling themselves the Karma Clan, their praise, worship, and repeated summoning of Karma herself angered her into banishing them out of her home reality and into the Meta Timeline. Landing in Svartalfheim, the Karma Clan take a spot in the higher class of the realm as a magical mob led by Lord Probabilitor.
c. 6,000,000,000 B.C.E.
- Around this time, the Duergar collected enough Fairy Dust to channel wormholes away from Svartalfheim. Leaving the realm, the Duergar found themselves on the other side of the Universe in the realm Takamagahara where they eventually evolve into a variant of Light Elves, known as the Kami.
- The Kami's Magic begins to seep into the environment, interfering with the flora, fauna, and geology. A squirrel of the realm is heavily mutated, giving it the form and intelligence of a Faerie, and the ability to traverse the realms.
- Growing up, the squirrel, going by the name Ratatoskr, traversed the Nine Realms, becoming a nuisance to larger, more powerful creatures such as the Ice Dragon of Niflheim and the Great Eagle of Asgard.
- Now an adult, Ratatoskr

- Attack on Peter Pan: In search for Peter Pan, the Collector tracks down the son of Sa, confused by the Umbrum's sent which matches that of Kinder Avery's. Despite this, Sa's son, takes this misunderstanding in stride, renaming himself Peter Pan. Upon realizing that Peter Pan was not who she thought he was, she attacked him, ripping out his Creation Spark. She split his spark into three parts and scatters them across the Multiverse.
Peter Pan was sent back in time by the Collector, Temporally Displacing him to the Isle of the Lost and Forgotten on Avalon. There he became the realm's protector and became fused with the island as its literal heart and soul, making him never able to leave. Because of this, the Isle was renamed by Sa's son to Neverland.

- As Kinder walked back to his and his sister's camp, he is approached by the Guardian of Neverland, Peter Pan. Pan tells him that, due to how he protected the Wood Elves he as been chosen to be the next Guardian. He then takes Kinder away to Marooners' Rock and shows him the hook and the cuffs, explaining how they work. He directs him to the cuffs which Kinder agrees to put on.

- Izanagi travels down to Midgard using the Bifröst and uses his spear, Ame-no-Nuboko to break the archipelago of Japan from the Asian continent.
c. 990 B.C.E.
- On the planet Etheria, three races of intelligent and colorful horse-like creatures called Equestrians quickly populated the largest landmass yet to be named. They grew as a populace into three distinct races. The Equuleus, who have a distinct connection to Etheria. The Pterippus, who can fly and manipulate the weather. And the Unicorns who can channel Magic through their horns.
- At some unknown point, Star Swirl the Bearded is born, becomes a powerful wizard and takes on an apprentice, Clover the Clever
- Equestrian Fimbulwinter:
- The Equestrian Ponies lived separately and did not see each other as equals, only working with each other when necessary. The Equuleus used their connection to nature to produce food for all of the tribes while the Pterippus kept the weather optimal for the crops. This however led to the Unicorns feeling superior to the others.
- The Equuleus refused to continue producing food for the other races, which led the Equestrians to resent each other and summon the Spirits of the North Wind. The Spirits, in search of new lands for their master Jacklyn Frost, to conquer, brought with them the Fimbulwinter that plagues their home land of Niflheim.
- The leaders of the three tribes, Princess Platinum and Clover the Clever of the Unicorn Tribe, Chancellor Puddinghead and Smart Cookie of the Earth Pony Tribe, and Commander Hurricane and Private Pansy of the Pegasi Tribe, call a meeting to discuss their issues, eventually giving up and individually agreeing to find new land.
- They all find the same land, igniting their feud once again and causing the Spirits to follow them, feeding off of their negative energy. The Ponies had no choice but to accept their differences and unite as one tribe. Equestria is founded.
c. 1000 B.C.E.
- Seeing that the Ponies were incapable of leading their kind thoroughly, an Etherian Ram named Grogar, decided to name himself Emperor of Equestria and all he lays his eyes on.
- Epoch of Darkness:
- Grogar's Rise to Power: To signify his rule over Equestria, Grogar made an artifact, the Bewitching Bell, to steal the magic potential of those who opposes him and implant that magic into himself. Doing this to countless ponies gave Grogar immense power, allowing him to rule over Equestria unopposed for years.
- Tales of Grogar's tyranny expanded beyond Equestria and into neighboring realms, eventually being taught to a young Etherian Centaur named Tirek.
- Monsters in Equestria: Still, the ponies tried however they could to oppose Grogar, prompting him to further cement his rule over them. Using random animals, Grogar fused many of them together using the mass amounts of power he has collected. The countless monsters he created ran rampant across Equestria, treating the lands as their play pen and the Equestrians as mere toys. Grogar became known as the Father of Monsters, and he used his monsters to force Equestria to its knees.
- Creation of Discord: Of all of the monsters Grogar created, he still had plans for one final creature. By combining several different animals, including a male Unicorn, Grogar gave life to his own Chaotic Spirit. At the same time, Ayin, the Cosmic Entity of destruction chose Grogar's creation as the Serpopard of Disharmony. The creature rose from its bed, and named itself Discord, the Lord of Chaos. However, having remembered his past life as a Longma on Discordia, Discord quickly abandons Grogar through the Chaos Dimension to start his subjugation.
- Theft of the Bewitching Bell: A Unicorn named Gusty the Great and her army soon took advantage of Grogar who was weakened after the creation of Discord. She managed to steal Grogar's Bewitching Bell and use it against him, siphoning away all the power he accumulated.
- A defeated Grogar went into hiding while Gusty hid the bell on top of a mountain and protected it with magical winds and a forcefield so no one could ever get to it.
- Grogar's Rise to Power: To signify his rule over Equestria, Grogar made an artifact, the Bewitching Bell, to steal the magic potential of those who opposes him and implant that magic into himself. Doing this to countless ponies gave Grogar immense power, allowing him to rule over Equestria unopposed for years.
- As a fail safe, Grogar cursed Equestria so that if he was ever defeated, the sun and moon of Etheria would stop moving on their own. The disruption of the natural order almost ended pony society until Star Swirl the Bearded and five other Unicorns used their magic to move the sun and moon, restoring order.
