The Mother Timeline is the eldest timeline in the Multiverse and, as its name suggests, is the progenitor temporal branch for most other timelines. It is very magically charged, rivaled only by its sister the Meta Timeline. The Mother Timeline is special in that it is the chosen home of most Multiversal Entitles like the Celestial Entities.

Dates may not be 100% accurate to real world events.

Prime Universe Eon[]

Before c. 13,800,000,000 B.C.E.[]

c. 13,800,000,000 B.C.E.[]

  • Big Bounce: Yahweh finds the collapsed Nexus Universe and produces a new, magic infused, Universe now named the Prime Universe by recreating the Big Bang.
    • Merlin is healed and is left hurtling across the new Universe.
  • With the new universe came laws of physics and time. Immediately, the four planes of reality were actualized (the Quantum Realm, the Astral Plane, the Physical Plane, and the Temporal Plane).
  • The sudden explosion ripped Khaos' Dark Energy from her body and forced it into the Universe, angering her even more and forming a sea on Dark Energy inside the Prime Universe.
  • The heat from the Big Bang forges a new dimension, the realm of fire, Muspelheim. As the universe expanded, it rapidly cooled forging another dimension, the realm of ice, Niflheim.
    • Muspelheim and Niflheim created a cosmic duality and the two realms began to revolve around each other, churning the Dark Energy trapped in the Universe into a viscus fluid forming the Ginnungagap.
  • The explosion from the Big Bounce caused the Universal Shell to be left in a state of constant burning. As it burned and expanded, sheets of cosmic radiation shed off into the Ginnungagap where it becomes Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation, known to the Magical Community as Cera Fluid and Magic.

c. 13,600,000,000 B.C.E.[]

c. 13,000,000,000 B.C.E.[]

  • Purification of the Cosmos: Samael, now going by the nickname Lucifer the Light Bringer, manages to get the artifact from Amun-Ra. Now called the Lucifractor, named after the light bringer himself, the Celestial Entities use it to cleanse the Universe of the excess Dark Energy and Magic.
    • As the Dark Energy was being absorbed by the Lucifractor, it retreated away into its own pocket, the dimension known as Svartalfheim.
    • As the Magic was being absorbed, it condensed into the Magic Dimension to escape it. The rest of the magic gave birth to the primordial entity known as Yggdrasill who embodies the cross-universe prismatic wormhole web called the Bifröst.
      • The Bifröst emanates and is fueled by the Heart of Yggdrasill, a terrestrial dimension already hospitable to intelligent life.
      • Yggdrasill connects itself to Muspelheim, Niflheim, and what would become Helheim.
    • The empty space left by the lack of Dark Energy and Magic grouped together, forming the Elemental Dimension. This dimension is where Kauket's prison planetoid now resides.
    • All of the Celestial Magic in use soaks into the universe and coalesces into a dimension of light, Ljosalfheim.
  • Yahweh places the Spark of Creation at the very center of the Universe to keep it running without his direct intervention.
    • The Prime Universe spawns corrupted copies of itself every cosmic cycle, roughly every one billion years.
  • Fall of Lucifer: Lucifer, still with the Lucifractor, learns that, while he is the God's favorite son, and the brightest of the Heavenly Host, he is still not as powerful as Michael. The Collector, wanting the Lucifractor for her self, talks Lucifer into unleashing the magic inside the device into himself. After contemplation, Lucifer gives into his pride and envy, and reverses the Lucifractor on himself. This caused him to fall, losing the brightness he loved and runs away to stay out of sight. The Collector takes what she came for and leaves, but not without getting caught by Michael.
  • Corruption of the Heavenly Host: Lucifer, now a Fallen Angel, goes to many other Angels and corrupting them as well.
    • Azrael, Pharzuph, Kokabiel, Shax, Vassago, Obyzouth, Rahab, Purah all become Fallen Angels.
  • Michael tells Yahweh about Lucifer and Azrael's fall. Yahweh approached Lucifer trying to turn him back to the light. But he soon realized that it was too late for him. Yahweh returned to the Archangels to tell them to get ready for war.

c. 12,000,000,000 B.C.E.[]

  • The Anti-Universe is formed.
  • Iris, the primordial goddess of the rainbow found and took residence in the Heart of Yggdrasill. Yggdrasill's avatar, Fimbultyr, greeted her, wondering why she was there. Iris explains that she loves the prismatic coloration of the dimension and of the Bifröst. The kind hearted Fimbultyr allows Iris to have power over the Bifröst and dominion over the realm, now known as the Rainbow Dimension.
  • The Rainicorns and Dogs develop as a civilization within the Rainbow Dimension. The Rainicorn/Dog Wars begin.‏‎
  • The magical energy from the Bifröst seeded life into the fires of Muspelheim. From the Eternal Flame, rose the first Fire Giant, Surtur. With a mighty roar, Surtur caused hundreds of other Fire Giants, the Eldjötnar, rose from the surrounding fires. With Surtur as their king, the Eldjötnar ruled over the realm of fire.
  • Hestia, goddess of the hearth, is born and devoured by her father Kronos.
  • The earliest planets of the Universe form.
  • Yggdrasill, in search of its Nine Realms begins to adhere its Bifröst to the atmosphere of Avalon. Part way through, Yggdrasill changed its mind and chose Alfheim as its realm of light instead. However, a piece of the Bifröst remained on Avalon above the Isle of the Lost and Forgotten, where its future inhabitance will know it as the Second Star to the Right.

c. 11,000,000,000 B.C.E.[]

  • The Opposite Universe is formed.
  • War in Heaven:
    • First Battle of Good and Evil: Once enough Angels fell to Lucifer, roughly one third of the Heavenly Host, the Fallen Angels rose up against their father, God. Michael stood against them and with the rest of the Host. A battle ensued, large enough to completely shatter the Ether into trillions of islands. Many Angels and Fallen Angels were killed in the fight including the Angel of Death, Azrael.
    • Banishment of Lucifer: The loyal Host was able to overpower the Fallen. With most of them dead, the rest were banished from the Ether leaving Lucifer for last. He was given the worst treatment, inflicted with the Chthonic Curse, meaning he is no longer able to set foot in the Sky Dimension without incinerating. The Fallen were sent to the Underworld where they constructed the counter city to Heaven, Hell, where Lucifer rules over.
  • Yahweh takes the dust from the deceased Angels bodies and scatters them across the Ginnungagap. The Adamah combined with the copious amounts of Magic in the Unworld which transformed the Soul Dust into Ectoplasm which slowly began to create the Ethereal Plane.
  • One of the shattered islands is chosen by Yggdrasill to house two realms one on its north and south end. This planetoid would eventually be known as Iðavöllr.
  • Amun-Ra takes one of the shattered islands and uses it to build the Mandjet, where he and the rest of the Pesedjet live.
  • Sekhmet and Bastet are born to Amun-Ra and Isis
  • Erebus and Nyx birth a set of twins Hypnos, the embodiment of sleep, and Thanatos, the embodiment of death who now houses the spirit of Azrael, the angel of death, who had fallen in battle during the War in Heaven. Thanatos, still remembering his past life, runs away from his responsibilities as a killer, to explore the Universe.

c. 10,000,000,000 B.C.E.[]

    • Thanatos not finding Purgatory suitable for him to live at, he left the realm, but not before subconsciously transforming Purgatory into a Dead World where the unworthy and unrighteous deceased reside.
    • The Rampage of the Keres begins
  • A World Turtle Colony Ship, named Trolual was sent back in time to escape the End of the World, the furthest back any of the World Turtles have traveled to. However, due to the current state of the Universe, all but one of Trolual's inhabitance died out.
  • The first Ents, the Meliae, eventually evolved into several other types of Nymph. The Nymphs spread across the universe and settled on numerous planets, spreading their divine nature influence.
  • The energy from the Bifröst irradiated the ice of Niflheim inhabiting build ups of venom from the poisonous rivers from the Hvergelmir spring. The heat from Muspelheim's fires melts the surrounding ice, releasing the Primordial Beings within. Ýmir, the Primeval Ice Giant and the Primeval cow-like entity, Auðumbla.
    • Ýmir subsisted on Auðumbla's milk, causing him to grow very large and powerful. With his ice power, he shaped the realm of Niflheim into his own image.
    • In his sleep, Ýmir's large body would sweat and the sweat would give life to more, smaller, Ice Giants who in turn had several more children with each other, quickly populating the realm of Ice.
      • Seeing the Ice Giants as a potential threat to the Universe, Yggdrasill locked the Bifröst from Niflheim.
    • Auðumbla, however, subsisted on the salty ice and rocks from Niflheim's Élivágar rivers. Eventually she found a particularly large ice block and began licking it, unknowingly slowly freeing the humanoid figure trapped inside, the Primeval Æsir, Búri, who had also formed from Yggdrasill's energy.
  • The Bifröst seeds life into the south end of Iðavöllr. The Kami and the Trolls are created and make their home in the city they called Takamagahara, a realm likened to a rainforest or swamp. Gaia makes this realm her new home.
  • Demeter, goddess of the harvest, is born and devoured by her father Kronos.

They find the Trolual Colony Ship and lays the princess there to rest before flying away.
    • On the World Turtle, Atahensic runs into the last surviving member of the colony of Terrans, a man named Izanagi, who she quickly befriends and marries before going into labor. When her daughter is born she is deformed, almost fish-like. Izanagi and Atahensic, who changed her name to Izanami, agree to send their daughter away into the forest via river and a small boat made of reeds. Izanagi and Izanami continued to have their own children together, however all were deformed, all were amphibious humanoid entities. Their first child, who named herself Sapling, returned to lead her people, the Terrapins.
  • Hera is born and devoured by her father Kronos
  • Annoyed of always living in paranoia of the Dark One, the sky goddess Nut suggested to Amun-Ra that they should increase their numbers to help fight Apophis. Amun-Ra furiously shoots this idea down, not wanting to bring more life into a world where Apophis is on the loose. To make sure his new law is upheld, Amun-Ra got Shu to watch Geb and Nut to make sure they do not have anymore children so long as his light shined on them.

c 8,000,000,000 B.C.E.[]

  • Tartaros, the primordial spirit of the Underworld, finds the Nether and decides to call it home. He fuses his corporeal form to the dimension, and carves out a place for his physical form to live. This realm would be known as Avernus and his home, Tartarus, the Prison of the Gods where the Elder Hecatoncheires and the Tartalo now reside.
  • Hades is born and devoured by his father Kronos.
  • Nut, Thoth, and Khonshu worked together to distract Amun-Ra and Shu and overtake his sun light with Khonshu's moon light. While they were free Geb and Nut conceived an Ennead daughter they named Ēostre. Thanks to Hours, Amun-Ra found out about the Ēostre and had no choice but to separate them from the rest of the Pesedjet.
  • Thanatos travels to the Ethereal Plane where he finds the scattered remains of his former siblings, the Angels and Fallen Angels that died during the War in Heaven. Overwhelmed with grief, anger, regret, and sadness, the realm reflected it, becoming another Dead World where all who enter or reside in it will be consumed by negative emotions.
  • Attack on the Mandjet:
  • Attack on Peter Pan: Peter Pan was sent back in time by the Collector, Temporally Displacing him to the Isle of the Lost and Forgotten on Avalon. There he became the realm's protector and became fused with the island as its literal heart and soul, making him never able to leave. Because of this, the Isle was renamed by Sa's son to Neverland.

    • The Pixies of Avalon landed on the Isle of the Lost and Forgotten, better known as Neverland, where the light magic of the realm corrupted and mutated them into the Never Fairies, also known as Sprites. They made a new home in Neverland, founding their realm Pixie Hollow, named after their origin species.
      • The Guardian found the Sprites and welcomed them to Neverland. The Sprites deified the protector, calling him Peter Pan, the protector of Neverland.

  • War of Niflheim:
    • Battle of Niflheim: Now fully grown, the bothers Odin, Vili, and and the rest of the Æsir and Æsir loyal Jötnar engage in a battle between the rest of the Ice Giants. Many Æsir and Ice Giants lost their lives before Odin, Vili, and Vé made it to Ýmir. The three gods fought Ýmir strategically, his large body being too slow for him to properly combat them.
    • Death of Ymir: The brothers managed to overpower and kill the Primeval Ice Giant, and chopping his body into pieces and scattering them around the realm so they will never be reanimated. Upon, Ýmir's death, his blood poured from his body is a massive deluge which drowned and killed hundreds Ice Giants. However the Æsir was quick to find high ground to escape the flood. • Missing her old life, Tanda Sa leaves Heaven, accidentally displacing herself in time. She searches for her old home in the Dark Dimension, however, due to its nature, she was unable to find it and settled for the Realm of Darkness instead. On the planet Myrkheim, she grew lonely and learned to channel Dark Magic as her father did before her. Tanda breathed life into the ground and soil, and from it seven Dwarves rose to life, carrying the faerie qualities of the Pixies buried in the ground. Next she did the same to the murky atmosphere, bringing to life the spirits of the Pixies in the air and forming the Dark Elves.

c. 6,900,000,000 B.C.E.[]

  • While the Dwarves reproduce asexually through creating eggs, the Dark Elves could do it sexually and at an accelerated rate. In months, the hemovoric Dark Elves outnumbered the Dwarves ten to one and hunted them down for their blood.
This date is the focus of a Point of Divergence due to Temporal Displacement during the War of Svartalfheim
It has an alternate history in a different reality: Meta Timeline#c. 6,900,000,000 B.C.E.
  • War of Svartalfheim:
    • Attack on the Dwarves: The Dark Elves slaughtered the Dwarves in droves, stealing their blood and leaving them for dead. The Dwarven population quickly began to dwindle.
    • Evacuation of Svartalfheim:
      • The Dwarves attempted to escape the Dark Elves through the Bifröst, which flings them across the Universe to Avalon in the opposing realm of Ljosalfheim. They were followed by the Dark Elves soon after. The pure light magic of the Light Dimension poisoned and mutated the Dark Fae. The Munchkins and Ozians are created.
      • Unable to find another way out, the Dwarves resorted to hiding underground. With their adept ability to terraform the ground, they quickly constructed a sprawling network of caves that comprises Nidavellir in which the Dark Elves followed them. Both races chased each other into temporal rifts formed from the weak temporal boundaries of the dimension. Dwarves and Dark Elves, Multiversal Entities by association, became stranded in the Meta Timeline and where they restarted their societies from scratch.
    • Massacre of the Dark Elves: While the Dwarves were digging the tunnels of Nidavellir they came across a special metal. Using the heat from the Myrkheim's core, the Dwarves forged and enchanted the metal as a weapon against the Dark Elves. One that permanently petrifies them on contact. With the Midnight Swords, the tides of the war was turned and hundreds of Dark Elves were turned into stone.
    • Exile of the Dark Elves: To save her children and subjects, Tanda Sa, know known as Pitch Black stepped in to end the war. The Dwarves and Dark Elves, seeing Tanda as their mother and queen, conceded to her. The Collector attempts to steal Gaia's Creation Spark and force her to create the Greek Pantheon for the Noir Timeline. However, since Fjörgyn is not Gaia's true form which was hidden elsewhere, the Collector failed. She resorted to begging Gaia to do it, which she refused. Gaia already was talked into Pantheon Spawning the Greeks for the Meta Timeline, and realized that no mater the origin, her offspring was meant to war with each other. She did not want to feel the pain of her children fighting each other again. The Collector was adamant, however, under strict orders by the Author to do whatever it takes to have the Olympians in the Noir Timeline. Gaia suggests she creates them herself, doubling down on her decision to not help before leaving.

This time, however, thanks to the Kami's magical abilities, the fight was closely matched, brutality and death on both sides. The battle would have continued indefinitely, if not for Fimbultyr, the humanoid avatar of Yggdrasill, stepping in. He warns of an impending attack of the Jötnar and Dark Elves who will destroy both of their homes if they remain separate. The Æsir and Kami, heeding Fimbultyr's warning, resolve their differences and unify into one large civilization under the rule of the Æsir king Odin and the Kami queen Frigg.

The Builder asked permission to use is horse to help carry materials. They were hesitant at first, but Loki talks them into it. As the months pass, the Builder got closer and closer to completing the wall. The Numens demanded Loki to help stop him, since he was the one to got them into this. Heimdall was dubbed the Gatekeeper of Asheim with the observatory he named Himinbjörg as his home and post. Asheim officially becomes Asgard and Takamagahara changes its name to Vanaheim. • Thanatos then solidified some of the Dark Matter into a murky planetoid named Quietus, where he took residence in a small house he created on it.
    • Inside, Thanatos, now going by the name Sa to hide himself, attempted to create a family to live with. He tried animating the Dark Energy directly, creating an intelligent but emotionless and soulless living shadow, the first Umbrum. Sa's son was let go of, and wandered around the universe.
    • Sa tried again, this time infusing his new creation with soul energy form the Ether and Nether, accidentally alerting Yahweh of his whereabouts. Thana and Tanda were created, Sa's wife and daughter, both Umbrums with souls. The three of them lived in the house on Quietus in piece.

Odin mistakes him for the Jötunn Mímir before realizing that he looks too much like a Numen. He calls a meeting with the other three elementals Chatsberry, elemental of candy, Balthus, elemental of fire, and Slimy D, of slime, in an attempt to find a way to stop their impending extinction. The other Elementals refuse to help, wanting nature to take its course. This prompts Evergreen into freezing them, and going at it alone, though with the help of his dinosaur servant Gunther.
  • Collison of the Green Catalyst Comet:
    • While Evergreen was successful at creating the Wishing Crown, a tool he would use to grant his deepest wish: to be rid of the Comet, things went south when trying to apply it. After getting trapped under some ice, Evergreen entrusts his apprentice Gunther with wishing the Comet away. However, Gunther's deepest wish is not to destroy the comet, but to become Evergreen himself, or at least how he sees Evergreen. This permanently changed the Wishing Crown into an artifact that gives its wearer Cryokinesis and alters their appearance to that similar of Evergreen.
    • With nothing to stop it, the Green Catalyst Comet crashes into the Yucatán Peninsula in modern day Mexico, instantly killing Gunther and Evergreen. The collision devastated the entire planet, the sky was blocked by all of the up turned ground and the Earth cooled drastically. • Sinking of Atlantis: Jörmungandr was kept in Asgard in his childhood but thanks to his Fomorian physiology, he quickly outgrew the city. The Asgardians, fearing the serpent god, and having no where for him to live, banished Jörmungandr from Asgard to Midgard through the Bifröst. The Bifröst let out Jörmungandr in mid air above the Atlantic Ocean, causing him to plummet to to planet's surface. It has an alternate history in a different reality: Multiverse
  • Over time, Variants of Hel from other timelines were also sent down to Helheim. Melinoe thought to herself that there can be only one. Having learned of the Chthonic Curse from newly befriended Lucifer, Hel casts the curse on herself, transforming her into a Multiversal Entity.
  • Massacre of Hel's Variants: Helreginn approaches the other Hel Variants and uses her new found power to wipe them all out. She kills every variant of Hel until she is the last one standing, and slaughters any new variants who gets banished to Helheim. As she killed her variants, her body begins to distort, half of it rotting away into a corpse, the price of her curse keeping her alive.
  • Theft of Sif's Hair: In retaliation of his kids being taken away, Loki snuck back into Asgard and journeyed to the Thor's home, Thrudvangr. There, he sneaks up on Sif while she is sleeping and cuts off her hair.
    • The next morning, Sif awakens to her beautiful hair gone and screams in fear. Her husband Thor immediately goes to Loki and blames him for it. Loki admits that it was him, and it was revenge for what happened to his children. Thor is having none of it, threatening to break every bone in Loki's body if he does not fix what he has done.
  • Loki journeyed to Myrkheim to recruit the Dwarves Alfrigg, Berling, Dvalin and Grer, the sons of Ivaldi, to construct new hair for the goddess as well as two other gifts to the Asgardians as compensation.
  • However, Loki wanted to text the extent of the Dwarves and their abilities. He challenged the heads of Great Forge, brothers Brokk and Sindri, to also make three gifts to the Asgardians, and a deal was struck. If Brokk and Sindri's gifts are deemed better than the sons of Ivaldi, then the brothers would get Loki's head.
  • Assault of Brokk: While Sindri crafted the artifacts, and Brokk worked the bellows, Loki, disguised as a large fly invaded the Great Forge room and attempted to sabotage the Dwarves. While Brokk worked on the first two gifts, Loki bit Brokk on his arm and neck which did not phase him, allowing the first two gifts to be made perfectly. Getting desperate, while the Dwarves were crafting the final gift, Loki bit Brokk on his eyelid, which distracted Brokk just enough to cause an imperfection. Satisfied, Loki took the Ivaldi brother's gifts and returned to Asgard.
  • Loki presented the sons of Ivaldi's gifts to the Asgardians. As promised, the first gift was replacement hair for Sif made from Dwarven Gold that fuses to the scalp and acts just like real hair. Next was Gungnir, the magical spear that never misses its mark, which was given to Odin, and finally the collapsible boat, Skidbladnir, which always has wind in its sails, given to Vanir god Freyr.
  • Brokk and Sindri presented their own presents to the Asgardians the magical boar, Gullinbursti, for Freyr, and the self duplicating ring, Draupnir, given to Odin. Last was an enchanted hammer, Mjölnir, that, because of Loki's intervention, had a handle that was shorter than originally intended. Despite this, Thor loved his new weapon and the imperfect handle pushed the brothers over the edge to winning. When Brokk and Sindri tried to collect for the deal they made with Loki, his head, Loki made up a fake fine print to their agreement. Supposedly, they can have Loki's head, so long as they do not take any of his neck as well. Caught in a corner, the Dwarves ask Odin who was in the right. Thanks to their blood pact, Odin agreed with Loki, letting him get off scot free.

  • Capture of Fenrir: Unlike his younger siblings, Fenrir was allowed to stay in Asgard and live amongst the Asgardians. Especially the Æsir god of war, Týr, who was his best friend. However, Fenrir began to grow too large for the Asgardians liking and had to devise a plan to restrain him. They tricked the wolf god into being bound with unbreakable chains crafted by the dwarves. As punishment, however, and making good on the deal Fenrir and the Asgardians made, Fenrir began to bite off Týr's hand.
  • Arrest of Freyr: However, at the last second, Freyr pushed Týr out of the way, allowing his hand to be bitten off instead. The Asgardians present felt shame for what Freyr did, since he ruined Týr's noble sacrifice.
