The Ophanim, also known as the Celestial Thrones are powerful intertwined rings. They are a powerful subspecies of Angel often assisting other Angels throughout the universe. When their host Angel is in their humanoid forms, the Ophanim shrink down into a silver or golden ring above the Angels head, and their many eyes close, turning into Halos.
Description
The Ophanim are large and powerful Celestial rings, coming in pairs, that cross over themselves. These rings are covered in hundreds of piercing eyes allowing them to see in all directions. An Angel, often a Cherubim, sits in the center of them and they follow them around, protecting them as they do. When without a host Angel, an Ophanim is on constantly on fire like their older siblings the Seraphim. When their host Angel changes into their humanoid form, Ophanim shrinks down into a pair of solid golden or silver rings that levitate above their heads.
Usage
Halos can be used to see into the Astral Plane, similar to an Adder Stone.
