"From my calculations, this place is some kind of isolated realm outside of space and time with no access to or from the outside world"
―The Wanderer describing the Rift

The Rift is the primary location of the first, second, and third season of The Creature Channel. It was created by Simon Hand when he cast the Banishment Hex on Creature Channel Studios.

The Rift is based on the Rift Café Hallway from the YouTube Bronalyst Community as well as loosely based on Storybrooke from Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz's "Once Upon a Time" and the Backrooms from internet myth and specifically by Kane Pixels.

This article is about the dimension created by the Banishment Hex. You may be looking for a different Rift.

Mister Hand's Void

The Mister Hand Moments set is a large white void with a desk inside of it. On the desk are a lamp and a white mug with a nameplate on the front. Behind the desk, on either side of Mr. Hand, are two windows, the right window has a view of Seattle and the left window has a view of London. Both cities are silhouetted under a sunrise/sunset. It has been revealed in the third episode of the series that the Mister Hand Moments set exists inside of The Rift. It is seen as a white door with a sign that reads "keep out" on it. On the other side of the door, there is a dartboard with a picture of Plásma on it, with three darts in his face.

Trivia

  • The Rift, before the reboot, was an unofficial part of the Rift Café, a group of Brony YouTubers who make analyst videos regarding My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, something One Who Commentates initially wanted to do as well
    • After the reboot, the Rift is completely detached from the Bronalyst Community, and is its own stand alone dimension
